A client who was not using the Genuine 8900 series ribbons recently sent their unit in for repair.
Our factory repair center discovered the unit was not printing the top half of the
characters and the printhead was damaged. The client was using a generic or compatible ribbon that was 1/8 inch too narrow. Please see the photos below.
